Classic in my memoryI saw this movie in Japan when I was a 13 years old. I watched this film becuase I heard that there were two Dobermanns in it.....25 years later, I am now standing here in life being a Dobermann specialist. My love for the breed never stop growing....I have watched DOBERMANN GANG series previously, and now saw this one. MEAN DOG BLUES is another one that I saw when I was 13~! I have almost ALL movies that uses Dobermann in act. However,I give thia one 5 stars becuase this is one of the original movie with Dobermanns in it that touched my soul.

Wonderful! My dad said that I wouldn't like this movie and that I would think it to be boring. Well his asumption was incorrect because I absolutely love this movie! I do not see why he would think I would hate because I think he knows that my favorite actor is Alan Alda...duh! Well here is a short summary: A young couple (Blythe Danner and Heath Lamberts) leave their home in New York to live on an isolated island with only two other people around, their landlord (Alda) and a deaf-mute who works for him. At first their landlord seems to be a kind and gentle veteren from the Vietnam war, but as soon as you get used to him being nice he turns into a mad man with two vicious dobermans. It isn't your average horror movie, but hey it rules!

Great 70's Flick!!In this 1972 film a hippie couple rents a beachside home in an effort to salvage their marriage unfortunately their landlord(Alan Alda)a militaristic sociopath with his 2 vicious dogs seriously hampers their stay. This is a great 70's flick that should be a cult classic!!
