DVD Sleepers
I had previously viewed this movie several years ago. It was a favorite back then and it is today. I had forgotten the excellent cast and since Minnie Driver is my all time, number one, top of the list, female actresses, it is a DVD that I will treasure and watch again and again over my remaining years. Who can forget the roles played by Brad Pitt, Robert DeNiro, Kevein Bacon, Jason Priestly, etc, etc, etc. An excellent movie that did not get the media attention that it deserved.

This chilling story of sexual torture and rape rings true to me.
I also endured sexual abuse in an all girls boarding school.
In my opinion, no one would fabricate this abuse history for entertainment purposes or financial gain. Whether the trial took place as it is depicted or not, is irrelevant to me. Whether the revenge was a Fantasy or Reality, it makes an abuse survivor/victim feel vindicated as you view it. The neighborhood ambience portrayed of Hell's Kitchen seems startingly accurate. I recommend it highly as an educational tool to illustrate the brutality of pedophilia. It's not a story about homosexuals at all; it's a story about church-going, heterosexual married fathers who get drunk on their company time and rape and abuse young boys for sport. It's seems to me to be about Hetero's who do the Down-low thing.
