Pirates of the Caribbean - At World's End (2007)

Doesn't Even Deserve One Star!
This is by far the worst movie I have seen in a long time. Unlike the first two,there isn't even one single funny part. The story is so boring,I didn't think I would be able to stay awake until the ending, to turn the DVD player off! It was pure torture to get through.I wouldn't even accept this movie as a gift,and I would have to wonder what I ever did to anyone if they tried to foist this off on me! On top of the ridiculous,and continuous swinging about on ropes,as though they can get anywhere they choose by doing so,even in raging storms out at sea,you can only make out about every fourth or fifth word the character Calypso says,and she is a main character who has a lot to say!

If you are desperate to throw away over 2 hours of your life,do yourself a favor and spend it sanding some drywall with an emery board,it would be less tortuous,and probably much more interesting!

Frustrated & let down.
Terrible terrible terrible. I loved the first two films, but this one was such a let-down. They tried to do waaaaaay too much in this movie, and the end is totally unsatisfying, especially considering that there won't be another movie w/ Elizabeth & Will to tie up loose ends. Plenty of unfinished business, I wish there could be a do-over here. REALLY glad I didn't pay to see this in the theater. Arg.

Amazing movie with good clean fun!
I wouldn't read all the critical reviews. I did and almost missed our favorite. There was nothing we didn't like. We have 3 kids, 16, 11, and 8. These movies are their favorites, as well as mine. We didn't see the first two until recently, and have thoroughly enjoyed all three. The third is different than the first two, but totally enjoyable. I can't believe what went into making these films. When you read some of the ridiculous critical reviews you get the sense that those writing them just can't sit and enjoy a movie without trying to play "movie critic." We just enjoy being entertained, and for us, these movies do just that. Back-stabbing pirates adds to the fun! We love the many Jacks, too. Hilarious! The actors clearly enjoyed making World's End! Thank you Disney, I hope you can see a way to make another.
