DVD-Castle in the SkyI really like this movie. It is similar to Jules Verne's book Island in the Air.

Excellent movie, bad dubbingA truly amazing film. The animation is suberb and the plot is interesting, engaging and inspiring. I enjoyed this film quite and bit and is one of my favorite Miyazaki films. The one thing I did not like about this movie was the English translation. I strongly recommend that you see the movie in Japanese and read the subtitles in English. The original Japanese version is much better than the English one because the voiceovers were excellent, were full of emotions and well acted. The English version is compeletely opposite to this. James Van Der Beek and Anna Paquin succeed only at creating the most emotionless dialogue ever. Their voiceovers were bland, lacked emotion and character. The only one that did a good job was Cloris Leachman. She was excellent in the voiceover of Dola. So, I recommend that you watch this movie as it was intended to be seen, in Japanese. The English version is horrible.
EXTRAS: The film can be seen in three languages: Japanese, English and French. There are English subtitles.
The Bonus Features were rather poor as it only offers a few interviews with the actors, film trailers, and the such. The extras were not that great.
